THE GUIDE · NO. 12
Start a Menopause Club.
Why talking about it with friends changes everything
For years, women went through this quietly. Then we started talking, and it turns out everyone was up at 3am too.
Talking openly with friends can make this chapter feel less lonely, and often a lot funnier.
How to start one
- Invite three to five friends. People you'd tell anything to.
- Pick a rhythm. Once a month works. Tea, wine, walks, whatever suits you.
- Set one rule. No judgment, and laughing is mandatory.
- Bring a topic. Sleep, hot flashes, doctors, partners, what's working, what isn't.
- Swap the good stuff. Doctor recommendations, books, podcasts, tips.
- Rotate hosts. Nobody should have to clean their house every month.
Can't do it in person?
A group chat works too. So does our Instagram. Come say hi.
See you at club, deia
